The 9RX Series 4-Track Tractors have been added to the 9 Family, providing John Deere with the broadest lineup of high-horsepower tractors in the industry.
The 9RX Series Tractors deliver the proven reliability of John Deere’s 20 years of experience in the rubber-tracked tractor business. The 9RX Series will be available in five models from 420 hp to 620 hp*. These models are powered by the John Deere PowerTech™ PSS 13.5-L and the Cummins® X15 engines. The 9RX Series Tractors provide power and torque to maximize performance in the toughest conditions.
The 9570RX is powered by a Cummins X15L engine with 570 engine hp. Power is delivered efficiently to the ground through the industry leading e18™ PowerShift transmission with three modes of operation. Traction and ride quality are maximized with the robust cab suspension system.
Long days in the field will feel much shorter with the CommandView™ III cab and CommandARM™ console with 4600 CommandCenter™ controls. A premium sound system, Bluetooth® interface, heating ventilation air conditioning (HVAC) system, MP3, and satellite radio capabilities give the operator unmatched comfort. The iTEC™ system, light-emitting diode (LED) lights and the leather seat option with 40 degrees of right-hand seat swivel expands the limits of comfort so the operator can stay comfortable and productive day or night.

John Deere and Cummins have partnered to provide customers with a reliable, productive and efficient engine solution in the QSX15. Extensive work has been done between John Deere and Cummins on software development and other engine/tractor application interface points to provide producers with the performance and efficiency they have come to expect from John Deere.
The QSX15 has followed the same building block approach to meet emissions requirements as similar John Deere engines. This allows John Deere to provide common technologies to producers throughout different horsepower and engine displacement offerings ensuring a consistent experience for producers. Just like the other two engine offerings in the 9 Family of tractors, the QSX15 features exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) and an exhaust aftertreatment combination of a diesel particulate filter (DPF) and selective catalytic reduction (SCR) to meet the near-zero NOx and particulate matter (PM) emissions standards.
QSX15 technology
XPI fuel system – the XPI common-rail fuel system delivers a precise quantity of fuel at ultra-high pressures. This, together with electronic engine controls, enables multiple injection events per cycle. Flexibility in injection timing increases fuel economy and performance while decreasing exhaust emissions.
VGT turbocharger – the QSX15 utilizes a single Cummins VGT™ turbocharger which features electric actuation for infinite adjustment.
Cooled EGR –system has been rebalanced for use with SCR, reducing flow volume and minimizing diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) consumption levels.
Fully integrated electronic controls – a single electronic control module (ECM) controls everything from air intake to exhaust aftertreatment.
Cummins particulate filter and SCR – Cummins particulate filter operates as a nearly passive device, with minimal regeneration required.
