New mobile apps complement John Deere Operations Center and JDLink™ Connect system

Getting started is easy - all that is required is to install the apps on a compatible smartphonNew mobile apps - MyOperations™ app and MyAnalyzer™ app

 

Now accessing Operations Center and JDLink Connect data from a smartphone in the field and on the go is possible with a new mobile experience. The MyOperations and MyAnalyzer apps provide an innovative way to gain on-demand insights with daily work summaries, field productivity, machine efficiency, and job quality details, along with historical field operations. These apps will be available on 29 August 2016.

 

MyOperations - Direct an operation by combining current machine and operational information into a mobile-focused experience, empowering managers to evaluate performance during and after field work and efficiently manage field logistics.

e and login to an existing Operations Center organization. Take advantage of the ways JDLink machine data and documented operations are combined. New and existing users will want to ensure they get the benefits of managing more acres, more precisely with these apps by enabling their equipment fleets with JDLink Connect, which seamlessly connects the machine to the Operations Center and takes the burden of data collection and transmission off of the grower.



NOTE: MyOperations and MyAnalyzerare available in US/AUS/NZ/CAN. This will be a launch for iOS® 8 operating system and newer devices only, with apps available in the John Deere App Center and Apple® iTunes® app store. MyAnalyzer is also available on iPad® tablet.

 

The MyOperations app provides insights from data in Operations Center and JDLink Connect with daily summaries, field productivity, and quality details. It empowers managers to evaluate their expected versus actual performance during job execution — all on the go from their smartphones.

 

 End users will be able to monitor their field work that occurred today and yesterday, including:

Daily summaries of work performed by date and by operation with total acres per operation and per field

Operation details at end of field such as rate, product, variety, yield, and moisture

Progress and path traveled with Location History

Field boundary locations on the map and driving directions

Analysis of equipment efficiency: Equipment location on the map and driving directions

Fuel and diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) tank levels of equipment to plan refueling logistics and timing

Equipment hours and utilization details such as time utilization, ground speed, engine load, wheel slip, fuel rate, and more

Remote Display Access (RDA) into the in-cab display

JDLink Machine alerts and notifications indicating machine health, operation, or misuse issues

 

Seamlessly transition to the MyAnalyzer app for a historical view of operations with a single login

 

Get support from partners, including dealers, based on permissions granted in John Deere Operations Center

MyAnalyzer examples:

 

The MyAnalyzer app utilizes data from the Operations Center to provide a view of documented map layers and summaries of field operations. This is traditionally the same data viewed within the Field Analyzer and Field Summary tab in Operations Center. Utilizing smartphone location features, MyAnalyzer enhances the ability to perform in-field analysis of documented results.

 

End users will be able to:

Use the current location feature (blue dot) while viewing a map to ground truth recorded data

View documented map layers and operation details for a field

Get driving directions to the field

Export a PDF of a map layer and print or share via email and text

Shake the phone while viewing a map layer to easily cycle through map layers for an operation

Get a farm summary by crop for variety performance information

Seamlessly transition between MyAnalyzer and MyOperations apps with a single log in

Get support from partners, including dealers, based on permissions granted in John Deere Operations Center

 

Value:

Utilize documented map layers to ground truth recorded data and for insights into the effectiveness of farming practices

Pull up documented map layers on the spot or easily send them via text or email to another person to aid in conversations with advisers and landlords

 

Access summary information of product performance as it is being harvested to aid in seed selection decisions for next year
