Climate FieldView™ Cab Enablement

John Deere is announcing the enablement of the Climate Corporation FieldView Cab app in select John Deere equipment. This means the wireless data server (WDS) hardware used for John Deere Harvest Mobile and SeedStar™ Mobile can also be used to wirelessly send data to Climate FieldView Cab. The customer’s iPad® with the FieldView Cab app will use the same secured Wi-Fi network generated by the wireless data server. John Deere Harvest Mobile and SeedStar™ Mobile will continue to be offered in addition to the enablement of FieldView Cab.

When are we enabling FieldView™ Cab?

Climate FieldView Cab will be enabled for the upcoming 2016 fall harvest on compatible John Deere combines.
What happens next?
Climate Corporation is in the process of announcing to their national sales force the enablement of FieldView™ Cab with John Deere’s wireless data server hardware. In the upcoming weeks, expect Climate customers to begin asking about using the wireless data server hardware to enable the FieldView Cab mobile app. More information will be available in the Ag Sales Manual later this summer including equipment compatibility, a new wireless data
