2016 John Deere Gator™ XUV Utility Vehicles Changes

 

The following updates have been implemented on model year 2016 John Deere Gator™ XUV Utility Vehicles.

  • Banjo bolt: the banjo bolt on the brakes was changed to be common with mid-size vehicles. The function remains the same, but is being communicated for awareness on service parts. This change affects all full-size vehicles.

Based on order take rates of various options, the model year 2016 factory-installed configurations have changed. These changes were implemented to allow quicker availability. Although these options will not be available out of the factory, they will remain available through Service Parts.

  • Black steel wheels with Terra Hawk AT® (all-terrain) tires: availability limited to select 2016 John Deere Gator™ XUV Utility Vehicles 625i, 825i, and 855D base codes.
  • High-performance sport seat: not available on 625i. Availability limited to select 2016 John Deere Gator™ XUV Utility Vehicles 825i and 855D base codes.
  • Front hood rack: availability limited to select 825i and 855D base codes.
  • Rear screen: not available as standalone option on 625i, 825i, and 855D.
 
Configurations closed due to low model year 2015 take rates
 
  • Cancelled - PR15 XUV 825i S4 green and yellow (base code 5887M)
  • Cancelled - PR15 XUV 855D power steering green and yellow (base code 398UM)
  • Cancelled - XUV 855D camo (build to order) (base code 398PM)
 
Estimated order opening dates
 

Model year 2015 production is expected to be depleted on some models by late September and new base codes will open and transition to model year 2016 on each model quickly as each one is depleted.
