Enhancements to the model year 2016 Gator RSX860i include:   Power steering option to reduce efforts and kickback All RSX860i configurations equipped with power steering come prewired for a winch Top speed to 60 mph (97 km/h) to cover long distances fast 12-month warranty or 1000 hours, same as other Gator Utility Vehicles Winch-ready chassis available for reduced winch installation times Backlit toggle switches for easy to find switches in the dark Spiral bevel front differential to reduce noise Painted steering knuckles and control arms to reduce visible discoloration

Power steering option:   Electric power assist steering (EPAS) is an option on the  John Deere Gator RSX860i . This option can be ordered in one of the priority replenishment (PR) base codes, or as a build-to-order option. All EPAS equipped vehicles are prewired for a winch. Features of the EPAS system include: Anti-kickback feature reduces the amount of steering unwinding when operating in difficult terrain The system is speed sensing and adjusts steering effort as the speed of the vehicle changes As speed increases, there is less steering assist for improved terrain feel As speed decreases, the steering assist increases to give lower steering effort for improved maneuverability.

John Deere Gator RSX860i Top speed of 60 mph (97 km/h):   The maximum engine speed on the John Deere Gator RSX860i  increased from 7250 rpm to 7750 rpm, giving the RSX860i a 10 percent increase in top speed over the RSX850i, from 53 mph (85 km/h) to 60 mph (97 km/h).

Increased warranty:   Give operators the assurance that the Gator RSX860i High-Performance Utility Vehicle will be ready when it is needed most. The RSX860i comes with a 12-month or 1000-hour factory warranty to align with other Gator Utility Vehicles.

Winch-ready chassis available:   Having the  John Deere Gator RSX860i  come prewired for a winch from the factory greatly reduces the winch install time. Two of the  John Deere Gator RSX860i chassis come from the factory prewired for a winch; all power steering models utilize the winch-ready chassis.   Components factory installed in the winch ready chassis: Winch wiring harness Negative winch battery cable Winch disconnect wiring harness

Backlit toggle switches:   Backlit toggle switches The factory-installed toggle switches are now backlit for ease of use at night. No more fumbling around the dash trying to find the headlight switch.

Spiral bevel front differential:   The front differential on the  John Deere Gator RSX860i  is a spiral bevel design. The helical design of this gear set is stronger and produces less vibration and noise compared to the straight cut gears found on many competitive vehicles.

Painted steering knuckles and control arms:    John Deere Gator RSX860i painted front control arms The steering knuckles and control arms are painted post machining for maximum rust prevention.

Options include color, wheels/tires, seats, shocks, winch, and protection components.   Please review the ordering plan and align stocking plans with the PR15 units listed above for faster replenishment.
