| Model year 2015 updates to 7R, 8R, and 8RT Series Tractors (Revised 21 October 2014) |

The following updates will be effective with November 2014 production. |

| Introducing the 7310R |
| |
|
|
For model year 2015, the 7 Family of Tractors is expanding with the addition of the high-performing 310 hp model. The 7310R will feature a Final Tier 4/Stage IV-compliant John Deere PowerTech™ PSS 9.0L engine with 310 rated engine hp (260 power take-off (PTO) hp). The 7310R will be available with both IVT™ and e23™ transmissions.
NOTE: The 7310R will have a maximum ballast of 132 lb/PTO hp. |

| Diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) tank – 7R/8R/8RT |
| |
|
|
| Increase uptime by checking DEF tank fill level without entering the cab. All DEF tanks will now feature a sight gauge and tank drain port for increased uptime and serviceability. |

| Tilt and extend seat – 7R/8R/8RT |
| |
|
|
| Increase performance and uptime with improved operator comfort. All premium cab packages now include tilt and extend seat bottom adjustment. |

|
| IVT AutoClutch on/off |
| |
|
|
Improve operator performance of IVT transmissions with the ability to turn on and off AutoClutch functionality better matching application needs. All model year 2015 IVT tractors will have the ability to deactivate AutoClutch through the Generation 4 CommandCenter™. AutoClutch will be reactivated after every key start. This functionality was first released on the model year 2014 e23 7R Tractors.
NOTE: Software will be available for model year 2014 IVT tractors to enable AutoClutch deactivation.
Heavier 3-point hitch lift capacity ratings – 8R
Updated 3-point hitch specifications to reflect actual performance on all 8R Series Tractors, now with up to 9,072 kg (20,000 lb) of lift capacity.

970 kg (2138 lb) rear wheel weight option
7R Series Tractors will now have the same ballast option that was launched with late model year 2014 8R Series Tractors. This option pairs a 70-kg (154-lb) starter weight with a 900-kg (1984-lb) weight. The starter weight and guide lugs provide improved installation and removal of the 900-kg (1984-lb) weight. This option requires steel wheels with cast hubs (code 5090) and outer dual wheels.

New Camoplast® Durabuilt® 4500 and 6500 Series tracks
The Camoplast Durabuilt 4500 and 6500 Series tracks replace the Camoplast Durabuilt 3500 and 5500 Series tracks for model year 2015 8RT Series Tractors. Both the 4500 and 6500 Series tracks offer improvements in puncture resistance, increased load bearing performance, and a redesigned guide lug geometry for improved side load performance. Exclusive improvements of the 6500 Series over the 5500 Series include a more puncture-resistant rubber and exclusive carcass reinforcement plies. On row-crop tracks of 40.7 cm (16 in.) and 45.7 cm (18 in.), changes include an increase in size of the high tension main cable. All of these improvements were incorporated to make the Durabuilt 4500 and 6500 Series track belts more robust and durable.
7R Series Tractors front hitch
Triple Link Suspension (TLS™) Plus will now be required for front hitch and front hitch-ready options. Field attachment kits to support model year 2014 7Rs with rigid frame mechanical front-wheel drive (MFWD) tractors equipped front hitch-ready are still available.
7R Series Tractors front hitch option 8407
Due to low volume, option 8407 (standard front hitch with zero front couplers, 5200 kg [11,450 lb] maximum lift capacity at hitch balls) is being removed.
Elimination of clockwise rotating front PTO options – 7R/8R
To align with standard rotation change for front PTO functionality on front-mounted equipment (ANSI/ASABE AD5759-1:1998), the following factory-installed options will no longer be available on 7R Series Tractors:
