STREAMLINED SERVICING
All daily service points including fuel are conveniently grouped on the left side of the machine at ground level, for easy access. Hinged doors provide wide-open access to the engine, the cooling system, and other components. Cooling package is isolated from the engine compartment, so the fan pulls fresh air that is not preheated through the coolers.

MAXIMIZE JOBSITE VERSATILITY
In addition to current P- and X-tier options, the coupler accepts buckets and attachments dating to K-Series Loaders to help maximize machine utilization and fleet versatility.

CAB COMFORT
Roomy cab features ergonomically placed joystick controls, foot pedals, and sealed-switch module. Seat-mounted right-hand joystick includes integrated F-N-R switch. Optional air-ride seat increases the level of operator comfort.

USER-FRIENDLY CONTROL
The 644 G-tier features common controls that will be familiar to both novice and experienced operators. Optional front-differential lock provides additional traction in muddy or loose-material conditions. Pilot controls are intuitive to operate. In-cab adjustable boom-height kickout and return to carry as well as return to dig can be easily activated from the convenient touchpad, speeding production in repetitive applications.

REMOTE DIAGNOSTICS AND SUPPORT
To maximize uptime and lower costs, JDLink connectivity provides machine location, utilization data, and alerts to help you maximize productivity and efficiency. JDLink also enables John Deere Connected Support. Dealers use Expert Alerts based on data from thousands of connected machines to proactively address conditions that may otherwise likely lead to downtime. Your dealer can also monitor machine health and leverage remote diagnostics and programming capability to further diagnose problems and even update machine software without a time-consuming trip to the jobsite (Availability varies by region. KEEP FREE OF DEBRIS
Optional programmable fan automatically reverses at predetermined intervals to keep coolers clean throughout the day. Or run individual cleaning cycles through the monitor.

With a standard mechanical seat or optional air-ride suspension seat, youre able to choose the seat suspension that matches your average operating conditions.
Floor storage area on the left side of the seat means storing lunch boxes or personal items is easy and out of the way of foot pedals or controls.
Joystick controls, foot pedals, and sealed-switch module have all been ergonomically placed to ensure maximum comfort.
A high-definition and adjustable monitor includes built-in abilities to view diagnostic trouble codes.

Built on over 50 years of experience producing and supporting wheel loaders, the 644 G features a high commonality of components found in other John loaders that are designed and tested to meet John Deere standards including the engine, transmission, and axles.
The John Deere PowerTech 6.8-L (415-cu in.) engine is designed to improve cooling and provide high cylinder and piston ring durability.
John Deere Teammate V axles contain pressure-lubed input bearings and brake discs that enhance cooling and extend component life, which helps lower total cost of ownership.
Extended service intervals lower the cost of maintenance over the entire life of the machine.
Auto Idle and Auto Shutdown reduce engine speed or turn the off completely after a period of inactivity to save fuel and warranty hours.

Clutch cut-off allows for the delivery of full engine power to the hydraulics when crowding a pile and using the brakes, which increases cycle times and productivity. A sensor integrated into the brake pedal cues the cut-off in the transmission to occur during braking so that operators dont have to press a button to disengage the transmission.
