UNVERFERTH PERFECTA 10 FIELD CULTIVATOR

Plain and simple, you'll build the perfect seedbed with the Unverferth Perfecta field cultivator. Save fuel and time by tilling, leveling and finishing in a single pass. The Perfecta field cultivator is available in a wide range of working widths ranging from 40 down to 4 with three different styles of S-Tines available to fit your soil type. This time-saving tool is lighter, pulls easier and is more versatile than a comparable-sized disk. The versatile design makes the Perfecta field cultivator the ideal tool for working row-crop fields, bedded fields, orchards, vineyards, arena grooming and a multitude of other tillage applications.

FRAME

PERFECT SEEDBED PREP
The Unverferth Perfecta field cultivator uproots growing weeds, so they wilt and die while also loosening and aerating the soil for optimum seed-to-soil or root-to-soil contact, creating the perfect seedbed.

CONSTRUCTION
The Perfecta field cultivator is available in working widths ranging from 40 to 4 with an 18, 15 or 9 base on folding models, depending on size, and rigid frame models from 20 down to 4. 10 to 4 rigid models feature tapered sides and make ideal vineyard maintenance tools at a fraction of the cost of a disk.

The heavy-duty four-bar frame provides maximum strength for years of dependable service and 20 of underframe clearance for superior residue flow. The frame is powder-coated in your choice of tractor red or green on all sizes or orange on 10 to 4 sizes for a long-lasting finish.

On 28 to 18 folding models, a 3-point side-truss design provides greater rigidity. 40 to 30 models feature five integral trusses on the main frame for maximum strength. 8 to 4 models feature a CAT. 1 hitch, 28 to 10 models feature a CAT. 2 and CAT. 3 hitch and 40 to 30 models feature a CAT. 3 and CAT. 4 hitch.

Transport lighting and reflective markings are standard on 40 to 12 models for safer road travel. Lighting kits are optional for 10 to 4 models.

BEDDED CROPS
Models for established bed preparation are available in a variety of row widths, from 28 to 7 to work up established beds and provide a plant or seed-ready environment.

WING FLEX
28 to 18 models feature 5 degrees of upward and downward wing flex to follow field contours, or the wings can be set to rigid if desired. 40 to 30 models feature 15 degrees of flex upward and 5 degrees of flex downward for the most consistent tillage action.

FOLDING MODELS
All folding models are complete with 3,000 PSI-rated hydraulic hoses, including couplers and protectors, to fold the wings. 40 to 30 models feature a wing-fold flow-divider valve that allows the wings to fold evenly, allows the operator to set the working position, and raises the entire unit on end rows without folding the wings. 26 to 18 folding models are available with a 9 wide base, 28 to 20 folding models are available with a 12 base, 34 to 30 models are available with a 15 base and 40 to 36 models are available with an 18 base.

GAUGE WHEELS
40 to 10 Perfecta field cultivator models are standard with gauge wheels to set the proper working depth and provided added stability in-field. Bedded crop models and 15 to 10 rigid models utilize 16.5 x 6.5-8 single tires, 20 to 18 rigid models and 28 to 18 folding models with 8 or 7 wings utilize 20.5x8 dual tires, 28 to 18 folding models with 6, 5 or 4 wings utilize 20.5x8 single tires and 40 to 30 models utilize 7.60 x 15 single tires.

S-TINES

SEEDBED PREP
The S-Tines are spaced 18 side-to-side and 20 front-to-rear for an overall spacing of 6 which permits superior residue flow. All models feature three rows of staggered S-Tines that till from 2 to 6 deep. Depending on the soil conditions, 4 to 9 horsepower per foot of Perfecta on the tractor is recommended.

Models
Model 10 features thick by 1 wide S-Tines with a 2 wide goosefoot shovel for effective soil finishing in previously worked soils.

Model 12 features heavy-duty thick by 1 wide S-Tines with 4 wide sweeps for effective soil penetration in the heavier, unworked ground and rocky conditions. The two outermost S-Tines feature 2 points for effectively managing the outside of the tillage pass.

Model 14 features heavy-duty, edge-bent 9/16 thick by 1 wide S-Tines with 7 sweeps for working in the toughest soils for maximum tillage and consistent depth. The two outermost S-Tines feature 2 points for effectively managing the outside of the tillage pass.

LEVELING BAR

A SMOOTH SOIL PROFILE
The standard leveling bar on the Unverferth Perfecta field cultivator is located directly behind the S-Tines to knock down ridges and leave a level surface for the most effective conditioning.

TOOL-FREE ADJUSTMENT
The leveling bar features tool-free adjustment with spring down pressure so the operator can fine-tune the aggressiveness, or it can be pinned up in high-residue fields.

LEVELER STYLE
The diagonal and curved round tooth leveling bar features heat-treated thick by 12 tall teeth that can handle heavier soils with moderate residue.

The straight spike tooth leveling bar features forged thick by 11 tall teeth for maximum leveling in heavier soils with minimal residue.

FINISHING ATTACHMENTS

SINGLE ROLLING BASKET
The single Rolling Harrow basket attachment is available for all models of Perfecta field cultivators and features an exclusive, 12 diameter basket with forward-angled blades that dig into the soil for increased penetration and tillage action. For extra firming action, the basket can be reversed to angle the blades rearward.

The baskets are robotically welded for the greatest consistency and feature thick spiraled and serrated blades. The basket features a 1 center shaft for full-width basket support and vertical reinforcing discs for added strength. The economical 3-bolt shielded bearings feature a 1 bore and triple-lip seals that keep out dirt and debris.

DOUBLE ROLLING BASKET
The double Rolling Harrow basket attachment is available on 40 to 30 and 15 to 10 rigid models and features an aggressive 12 diameter lead basket coupled with a passive 12.5 diameter trailing basket. The basket assembly can be reversed for additional firming action in lighter soils.

Both the front and rear basket feature notched end plates and center discs for consistent tillage depth and the thick spiraled and serrated blades thoroughly mulch and mix the top 2 to 3 of soil for excellent conditioning.

The baskets are robotically welded for the greatest consistency and feature a 1 5/8 center shaft for full-width basket support and vertical reinforcing discs for added strength. The patented 4-bolt greaseless bearings feature a 1 1/8 square bore, triple-lip seals, and an exclusive shoulder construction that prevent the seals from reversing.

The basket frame features a high-clearance, arched and oscillating frame to keep both baskets in contact with the ground. The free-floating design of the basket frame allows the assembly to walk over uneven terrain.

SINGLE DRUM ROLLER
Standard reversible scrapers keep the drum clean during operation and the patented 4-bolt greaseless bearings utilize a 1 1/8 square bore, triple-lip seals and an exclusive shoulder construction that prevent the seals from reversing. The single drum roller attachment is available on 40 to 30 and 15 to 10 rigid models and features a 13 diameter rolling drum for increased soil firming and pushing down stones. The 1 5/16 tall cleats help drive the drum through sticky soils and create channels for increased water retention.
