With sweeping deck coverage, an innovative baffling system that virtually eliminates clumping and wings that follow ground contour, the 1600 delivers a consistent quality cut. And thanks to on-demand or full-time rear wheel drive and an advanced top-draw cooling system, it can keep at it acre after acre.

And dont worry the 1600 can think small, too. Mowing with just one wing and the center deck, or the center deck alone, its flexible enough to maneuver along paths as narrow as 84 inches (2.13 m) wide.

The 1600 Turbo Series III was designed to run hard all day, day after day. What does that mean? First, its tough as nails. Even the Flat Free caster tires work to keep the machine on the job.

Theres nothing wrong with a little power as long as it doesnt come saddled with a lot of downtime. Fortunately, with the 1600 Turbo Series III our engineers have figured out how to reverse that equation: You get lots of power, with little downtime.

The 1600 is made to run hard, and run long in either full-time or on-demand 4WD without running hot. For power, youve got a 60.0 hp (44.0 kW)1 turbo-charged liquid-cooled diesel engine. To keep it running through even the hottest part of the day, its got a top-draw air intake, designed to direct air to the radiator and oil cooler without picking up mower debris. And to make sure it runs as efficiently and cleanly as possible, theres a cooled exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system.

EASILY HANDLES THE PRESSURE.
When youre out working hard all day, you cant afford to have a machine that cant keep up. Thats why we made sure the 1600 Turbo Series III has hydraulics that can go the distance with features like high-flow capacity relief valves, full backpressure and reversing capability and an isolated deck motor design.
