On the RS72 model, four alternating bevel blades are made of 0.75-inch thick high-grade steel in a reversible design, for a deep, self-clearing cut and long wear life. Heavy, flywheel like blade carrier maintains inertia while cutting and enables mounting of optional stump-grinding carbide teeth.
RS and RX models have a retractable forward shield that rolls back to expose blades to larger trees and falls closed for processing material and minimizing flying debris.
On RX models, three single-bevel blades are made of 0.625-inch-thick forged steel for excellent cutting in most applications. Optimized blade carrier design provides fast startup and recovery performance.
Standard pressure gauge monitors blade load for ideal performance.
These rotary cutters are optimized to work with John Deere skid steer loaders (SSLs) and compact track loaders (CTLs). Theyre also compatible with many competitive models.
